About Our Company UCLA is an amazing place. Located in one of the most ethnically diverse, socially vibrant cities in the world, it is the home of extraordinary ideas and life-saving discoveries. In 2012, UCLA ranked ninth in the world in the reputation rankings survey by the London Times Higher Education. Our faculty boasts 10 National Medal of Science winners, six Nobel Laureates, and 12 MacArthur Foundation Fellows. And every day UCLA faculty and students imagine new ways to improve lives in the community, California and the world.

Staying at the forefront of discovery requires significant resources. That’s where UCLA Development comes in. Our team of 250 professionals is devoted to raising funds to advance the university’s purpose. We develop and create lasting relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations to meet the goals of UCLA’s schools, departments and divisions. With only a fraction of the university’s resources coming from the State of California and from tuition and fees, other sources must fill the gap. UCLA Development is at the heart of that vital work.
