Job Requirements Rodale is seeking a creative, energetic editor at Runnerís World to help plan and execute a new digital-based initiative focused on female runners. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of the topics, trends, and issues that resonate with female runners. He or she will work with a variety of writers, bloggers, editors and visual experts to deliver outstanding content across multiple platforms. This position will be based in Emmaus, PA.

Responsibilities:

Help create and develop a group of regular contributors that provides womenís-related running content, particularly on digital platforms.
Work closely with internal staffers and external freelancers and contributors.
Curate compelling content from a variety of sources.
Manage the delivery of content in various ways, including the RW web site, mobile site, magazine, newsletters, social media and other platforms. This will include extensive planning and organizing.
Actively engage with the target audience in social media, forums, and events.
Conceive and help execute ideas for stories, photos, videos, graphics, and audio.
Monitor effectiveness of new initiatives, refining our approach as needed to meet audience needs and business goals.

Requirements:

Two years of experience directing or producing content about womenís running.
Deep understanding of social media and a record of effectively using various social platforms.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Ability to produce traffic-driving content
