Digital Marketing Analyst

The Digital Marketing Analyst coordinates and implements digital marketing plans, produces and manages content for UCLA Events & Transportation's websites, social media and other new media outlets. This position requires technical and professional communication skills to collaborate with content subject matter experts and stakeholders across the department's functional areas to validate and improve information infrastructure. The Digital Marketing Analyst must leverage new media knowledge and expertise to develop sound digital media marketing and communications strategies, identify trends and create and implement best practices. In addition to identifying opportunities for new content, this position must review and edit content submitted for publication, ensuring the adherence of all style guidelines while maintaining a high level of urgency in an environment of immediacy and high visibility. Perform other required skills which includes project management, goal setting and prioritization of time and deliverables.

Strong knowledge/familiarity with the Internet and web-based communication.
Experience with new media and understanding of how to leverage these tools.
Extensive knowledge of WYSIWYG web content management interface and other CMS products.
Ability to analyze marketing and communication campaign effectiveness, including social media and other web-based communication campaigns.
Organizational ability to facilitate and coordinate project planning efforts from conceptual through implementation phases.
Experience in the origination, production and editing of web content in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree in communications, PR, technical writing, digital media, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with CMS, HTML and CSS, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
