Job Requirements The Digital Communications Associate Manager is responsible for driving Benjamin Moore & Co.’s communications activities to the important business to business audience through digital platforms both internally and externally. This is a newly created role that will report to the Internal Communications Manager. Based on Benjamin Moore’s business goals and strategic objectives, the Digital Communications Associate Manager will define, implement and execute an integrated communications plan to ensure our important customer and retail partner audiences are kept informed of product developments, strategic alliances, retail activations, color and design tools, organizational and business updates, marketing activities and key CSR and policy activities via key internal digital channels.


•Serve as the team lead from the Corporate Communication group and work closely with Product, Marketing, IT, Sales, Retail and other company stakeholders to effectively implement strategy, programs and communications initiatives

•In partnership with the Internal Communications Manager and other Communications team members, the Digital Communications Associate Manager will develop and implement strategies and tactics to ensure our Sales and field teams have the necessary tools and information to educate, inform, engage and meet the needs of our customers and network of independent retailers across North America

•This role is accountable for the development and creation of B2B communication materials that support and convey our brand value proposition, leadership in color and design and product excellence through email marketing campaigns, portal content and other digital channels

•Create an annual plan to ensure consistent communications opportunities as well as cohesive campaigns, dynamic initiatives and compelling content to bring our story to life and encourage engagement with our retailers, customer, employee and sales teams.

•Define, implement, maintain and regularly reassess the strategies, platforms and plans to ensure best in class communications activities

•Work as an integrated member of the Marketing department to accomplish key business goals set by the Director of Corporate Communications and the Chief Marketing Officer

•Responsible for building and maintaining excellent and active relationships with key stakeholders including the Sales, HR, Retail, Product and Marketing teams

•Define an approach to ensure the timely cascade of key information to all customer facing teams utilizing the latest digital technologies and communications skills

•Partner with Corporate Communications team members, Marketing and Product teams to fully prepare Sales for their interaction with retailers and other customers, providing trusted counsel on issues and matters related to communications, preparing briefing materials, developing messages and providing communications training as needed

•While the main responsibility is B2B communications, this role may occasionally prepare and draft other communications materials to be used such as – but not limited to: press releases, speeches, talking points, Q&As, FAQs, Internal articles, blog-posts, backgrounders, briefing materials, etc.

Required Skills:

•Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

•4-6 years marketing communications experience in a B2B environment

•Deadline oriented and the ability to write clearly, concisely and relatively quickly for multiple audiences on digital platforms

•Self-starter focused on continually developing new, creative and original approaches

•Experience leading junior staff in executing integrated communications programs

•Well organized with a focus on setting priorities, managing processes and delivering results under tight deadlines with shifting priorities

•Ability to work in teams and across departments to achieve communications goals

•Very comfortable working with internal business partners at all levels to drive projects forward independently and in a timely manner
