Job Requirements The Washingtonian Digital Department is seeking a digital intern to help promote, design and develop our digital editions. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative person who loves design, art and technology. Washingtonian’s iPad and Desktop Editions are growing, and it’s an exciting time to be a part of it.

Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with the art, web and editorial team on digital features to include in each digital edition, such as videos, slideshows, animations and more.
- Researching new trends in the world of tablet and mobile design as well as digital advertising to help keep us on the cutting edge.
- Helping create and produce the iPad and Desktop Editions every month for Washingtonian and its ancillary publications.
- Helping to translate our print design to the digital editions so that readers can enjoy a clear, tablet-optimized experience.
- Helping to promote, conceive and create interactive advertising designs.

Qualifications:
- Must be organized, enthusiastic, communicative and creative.
- Graphic design experience and knowledge of InDesign required.
- Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
