Job Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Design (Marketing, Interactive, Publishing) or related field
5-7 years of experience in book, magazine or publishing, with digital experience
Ability to maintain a high level of strategic thinking while remaining true to the look and feel of the brand and all sub brands
Strong presentation and communication skills
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
UX/UI, eBook development, and digital experience a plus

The Senior Art Director is responsible for the visual direction and creation of assets that address the needs of Content throughout all formats. This position works collaboratively to strategize the most efficient and resource lean approach that yields a consistent framework of all strategic initiatives.

Lead the creation of Content specific style guide design assets, as well as implementation across all print and digital channels
Be aware of the current digital content landscape and identify how we can intersect with emerging technologies
Partner with Art Directors throughout project lifecycles to drive content strategies and branded development
Help in the development of specific titles
Be able to manage and mentor junior staff while driving creative innovation
