Research, prepare and implement UWNYC’s annual marketing plan, including but not limited to:
o creating focused product and account-specific materials;
o analyzing performance of marketing campaigns;
o developing and directing project schedules established by the marketing and communications department;
o conducting audience research, product launches, value proposition development, product marketing collateral, and corporate campaign materials; managing marketing expenditures;
o guiding designers and copywriters to ensure the execution of projects on time and to spec
Drive product marketing and be the key liaison to manage our campaigns working with the Resource Development and Community Impact groups
Develop a deep understanding of UWNYC’s current products and its future product roadmap.
Drive the fullest understanding of UWNYC’s target audiences and user personas through a host of different research methods.
Cultivate UWNYC’s product value proposition for differentiated audiences, driving segmented product marketing that targets everyone from individual donors to our corporate partners
Design strong product marketing infrastructure including landing pages, interactive content, collateral materials, user guides, brochures etc
Create innovative and high impact marketing campaigns that drive UWNYC’s fundraising efforts
Continually map and evolve UWNYC’s product positioning, defining our unique position in the market through clear product communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
• B.A. degree required;
• 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in a consumer facing organization.
• Excellent strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving, and strong presentation skills
• Disciplined, great attention to detail and follow through
• Can work in a fast-paced environment, handle a large workflow, be very organized and efficient with a strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent writing skills—can write clearly and turn complex info into simple value propositions
• Ability to work in a team environment with a variety of departments
• Combines a deep level of product marketing experience with technology and a passion for making New York City a place that every resident can live and thrive
• Experienced communicator to C-level execs—can confidently and eloquently inform the business value of our product marketing strategies

The SENIOR DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MARKETING will take the lead on positioning United Way of New York City’s unique education, income and health product suite for our key corporate partners, and developing short- and long-term marketing programs. This position will be responsible for researching, preparing and executing the annual marketing plan;.
This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communication to manage and execute projects related to our corporate goals and annual marketing plan.
