Job Requirements Working on the Office of Technology Licensing's Marketing team, the Technical Editor supervises a team of student interns who translate scientific descriptions of UF discoveries for a business audience.

The Editor also assists with promoting events, producing newsletters, managing web presence, and other marketing and communications duties for UF OTL, UF Tech Connect and the Florida Innovation Hub at UF. This person must have good judgment, excellent communication and writing skills, experience in publication design and social media, and the ability to make progress on several complex projects simultaneously.

A masterís degree in an appropriate area of specialization, or a bachelorís degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience are required.
