Must be able to own and manage editorial production. Youre a multi-tasking superstar ready to help take our business to the next level of excellence. Passionate about delivering a high quality editorial product, you should have 3 -6 years experience managing and editing in an online or email environment. You should have the business mindset to smartly prioritize and organize content, and the editorial flair to deliver a consistent and compelling product. Your middle name is organized. This is the perfect position for a high-achieving editorial star that is looking for an opportunity to drive editorial strategy and create a system to produce high quality, viral, engaging content that attracts a loyal and large audience We offer competitive salaries and benefits. Required Qualifications * 3-6 years of experience in writing/editing/blogging or online-publishing * Knowledge of online/Web media is essential * Contacts throughout the online media and parenting industry * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment * Willingness to take on night and weekend work * Ability to turn around tight, accurate copy while meeting daily deadlines * HTML and Photoshop skills are pluses * Familiarity with Google Analytics and ability to interpret traffic trends to improve content * Must understand the dynamics of search and how to write content that capitalizes on high volume trends/opportunities.
