WBOC.com, a part of WBOC (a CBS affiliate on Marylands beautiful Eastern Shore and the leading television broadcast in its DMA), is looking for a dynamic leader in online sales and marketing to help drive our business to even greater success. The best candidate is a professional with significant experience (7 yrs +) explaining and selling all the ways in which the Web can be harnessed as a powerful marketing vehicle and works in conjunction with other platforms to deliver ROI. They know how and why marketers are spending their money, pay attention to emerging trends in digital marketing, and bring solid relationships with them to the position. The person in this position will work with the existing sales team, visit accounts and actively develop business to drive new revenue at every possible juncture. This person should be familiar with media sales organizations, advertising operations and the challenges inherent in both. They should have a 'can do' attitude and experience in solving those issues as needed. Strong communications skills, a willingness to work with the resources on hand, the ability to cultivate accounts, as well as educate every step along the way, are a must.
