Job Requirements DC based communications firm is looking for a digital media maven with a strong skill set and enormous energy. Position Summary:

Responsible for online research and analysis, developing social media programs, managing program execution, measuring and presenting results. Use knowledge gained through analysis to provide insight on forecasting, budgeting and social media marketing direction

Principal Responsibilities:

Developing, recommending, managing and implementing innovative social media marketing programs
Spearheading industry/product research
Representing companys digital media capabilities at appropriate industry events, speaking engagements, and other marketing opportunities
Engaging in dialogue with consumers in niche and popular social media communities
Developing relationships with and keeping track of innovations in blogs, social networks, UGC outlets, social bookmarking sites, and other appropriate social media destinations relevant to the project's audience
Identifying and communicating with online influencers present in various social media outlets
Applying appropriate metrics to assess success

Key Skills, Qualifications:

Knowledge, work experience and relationships in Interactive Media.
Passionate devourer of latest social media developments, online behavior and trends
Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Online Media Knowledge:

Experience communicating with influential, active, and niche bloggers and in blogging communities
Ability to understand a clients objectives, build a program that exceeds them, and meaningfully measure results..Must have excellent working knowledge of google research and analytical tools
Comprehensive knowledge of social media marketing landscape including MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, niche social media environments, popular message boards/forums, social bookmarking outlets (Digg, Delicious, Stumble Upon), video portals (YouTube, MetaCafe,), knowledge place sites (Mahalo, Yahoo! Answers, eHow), etc.know SEM/SEO

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required
3+ years of digital media planning or consulting experience required. Social Marketing and/or Agency experience is strongly preferred
