This position meets with selected clients to gather details about projects, processes Creative Services Departments jobs, including publications, monitors the flow of work in the initial and final phases of production, and serves as a liaison between the departments staff and selected clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Processes requests to initiate projects in the Creative Services Department from clients in the following departments: Service Center, Training, Travel Operations, Individual Membership Marketing, Resort Assistance, Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Advertising, Consumer Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Creative Services.

Meets with clients to gather project details and specifications for editorial, design, photo research, and print production.

Develops computerized schedules and deadlines for each stage of projects involving, copywriting, design, production, and printing.

Creates and maintains tracking forms for all publications. Keeps editors and Advertising Department apprised of deadlines related to all publications.

Works with Advertising Department to coordinate all materials needed for corporate advertising in outside publications.

Prepares projects for copywriting/editing and design/production, ensuring sufficient and accurate information has been provided.

Performs various traffic management responsibilities for the annual Resort Directory.

Completes detailed, technical specification forms for use by editorial, design, and print production staff.

Assigns Project Code Numbers and enters projects into database. Maintains/updates database information as necessary.

Completes Job Jackets and routing tickets.

Provides final artwork to clients and obtains sign-off prior to printing, tracking adherence to schedule.

Maintains project files and records.

Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in a Communications related discipline.

Must possess three years traffic management experience in an advertising agency or corporate creative services department.

Must possess thorough knowledge of all phases of the print production process.

Must be proficient with complex project management software.

Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.

Must be able to track and monitor status of numerous projects simultaneously.

Must be highly motivated with excellent diplomatic, management, and interpersonal skills.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to work quickly and accurately under intense deadline pressure.
