We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, entrepreneurial minded Digital Sales Representative . This key position is supported by our client consultant and works closely with our brand reps, editors, production managers and publisher. Comp plan is heavy commission plus draw and base.
The principal responsibilities are to: * Meet all sales goals and grow the magazine's digital revenue and SOM annually; * Prepare creative, fresh proposals and advise your clients on the best marketing campaign within Putman's products; * Oversee the deployment and performance of these campaigns; * Maintain and strengthen relationships with our clients; * Take ownership of the site you sell for and look for improvement continuously; * Minimal travel: attend trade shows and sales calls with brand reps and publisher.
Qualified candidates will possess: * Digital sales experience, preferably in the business-to-business media environment; * Knowledge of internet advertising (Rich Media, DoubleClick, CPM based selling); * Familiarity with Omniture's SiteCatalyst, and with desktop publishing software; * Strong consultative and solutions based selling skills; * Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of business concepts that drive marketing decisions.
