Fast Company magazine seeks a creative, detail-oriented self-starter who wants to work in a fun, collaborative, fast-paced environment where opportunities to learn and excel abound. The Associate Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams, creating innovative marketing ideas to increase advertising and promote the Fast Company brand, writing/coordinating promotional materials and direct mail, interacting with outside vendors, maintaining sales materials including an online media kit, and assisting the Events Marketing Director in the organization and execution of events.
Job Responsibilities Report to Executive Marketing Director Develop and execute creative promotions around core Fast Company editorial features including monthly mailings, targeted category promotions, all extenal sales materials, etc. Establish and maintain relationships with external conference partners in support of promoting the Fast Company brand Liaise with clients, sales, management and other internal departments as well as external vendors as needed
Job Requirements College Degree 1-2 years of magazine marketing-related work Excellent written and oral communication Creative strategizing and organizational skills Knowledge of merchandising, promotion, sales materials and events Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
