Reporting to the Chairman and CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer will be recognized as the brand soul in leading the marketing, product management and business development initiatives for 60 products across 6 platforms.
A key member of the executive team, the Chief Marketing Officer will work closely with executives across all divisions in the company to forge partnerships that drive value for the company (revenue, audience, etc.).
In this role, you will partner with our various print and online businesses to develop, manage and measure all marketing strategies and related advertising, promotion, sales and media plans for our portfolio of products and services with the objective of increasing sales, market share and profitability. Leveraging your B2B marketing expertise and deep understanding of our advertisers' needs, you will contribute to strategies that will change the way we attract and retain strategic partners and advertisers.
Your B2C responsibilities will include creating and executing online and offline integrated consumer marketing and promotional programs aimed at building traffic, revenue, unique users, brand awareness/loyalty, reach and audience engagement with all of our products in each of our markets.
Specific responsibilities include:
Top-flight cross-functional communication and team building skills.
Develop key account relationships and strategic business alliances leveraging value propositions, new business opportunities and revenue/profit maximization.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial vision and P&L leadership across teams and business units.
Effectively create new platforms to deliver more audience and new, advertiser-desired revenue streams.
Develop strong internal and external communications to assure consistency in operations and high levels of advertiser satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates who have a strong understanding of B2B/B2C strategic branding and demonstrated knowledge across all media platforms (digital, widget, mobile, tv/video, audio, social media, print, events etc.). This person has developed a strong track record in advertising, marketing and business development and understands all of the elements of planning and executing marketing programs and measuring advertising sales results. He/she fully understands and has experience with the operations of advertising agencies and national advertising clients.

A proven track record driving significant revenue growth Ability to be highly strategic with a knack for developing and implementing successful, long-range marketing, business development and communications plans Posses the skills and experience to manage effectively and efficiently a geographically diverse organization Demonstrated experience working with and making presentations at the highest corporate levels A consensus-builder who forges strong working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside the organization A good listener, he/she is open to ideas from a variety of sources Excellent communicator and motivator Track record in leading new product business process, from ideation, through business planning, through launch and promotion in collaboration with supporting teams Strong knowledge of interactive media and the emerging technology landscape Innovative, creative and flexible, this person has an entrepreneurial nature and recognizes and implements good ideas from a variety of sources
