Job Requirements A NYC based diversified communications firm is searching for a qualified corporate communications director to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:
- Minimum 4 years of client management experience in the communications industry.
- PR agency experience
- BA/BS in liberal arts.
- Strong verbal skills.
- The ability to write strong, solid pieces quickly.
- An interest in hard news, legal issues, and world affairs.
- The ability to understand and converse in stories reported on the front page of the New York Times.
- A mature attitude and the ability to deal with clients experiencing time sensitive and pressured situations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work on more than one project at once are necessary.
- The ability to help devise media strategies and pitch stories.
- An understanding of media, law, and politics are a plus.
- A catalogue of print and online media contacts; broadcast contacts a plus.
