Jetsetter is looking for a seasoned editor to run online content for the luxury travel website. The right candidate MUST have previous online experience.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Shape and refine Jetsetters brand voice. You must be able to articulate what defines Jetsetter copy and communicate to our network of writers and editors so they can consistently implement it.
- Develop site copy, emails, blog, and sale copy. Jetsetter puts out multiple sales per week, so you must be comfortable managing a process that produces a significant amount of communication on a regular basis.
- Strong proof reading and editing skills.
- Collaborate with our partner development team to ensure we are working with compelling destinations and partners. Members need to be exposed to new and engaging destinations and experiences; you need to be able to provide them.
- Develop cross merchandising activities with the Gilt organization.
- The right candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and be both creative and analytical. This is a leadership position and requires someone who enjoys motivating people as well as getting down in the trenches to do what it takes to get the job done well. Must be a team player who can work across departments. Must be familiar with online and how to work with CMS, tech, and SEO.
