Tasks will include:
Helping with online and offline marketing initiatives
Social media campaigns and on-line and off-line events
Monitoring online discussions
Tracking and monitoring PBC authors and partner blogs
Researching potential offline, grassroots partners
Editorial interns will research and track book submissions and prepare
materials for PBCs editorial board.
You MUST be able to receive academic credit for this internship.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and be highly organized with excellent follow-through ability. They must have a high comfort level with online media, particularly political and literary blogs. They will also have writing and research skills; familiarity with Word and Excel spreadsheets; and professional phone and e-mail communication skills. Each intern must have a broad knowledge of politics and current events and a passion for books, ideas, and progressive politics.
