We're looking for a well-rounded Development Lead who enjoys working on diverse and challenging projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and excel at collaborating and communicating with non-technical colleagues.
Our technology team runs a number of systems, from mobile applications to MapReduce logfile processing, all built on open-source components. We provide a fun, relaxed environment, an ideal place for developers to hone their skills and learn some new ones.
Experience:
7+ years experience
Java web application development (Spring, Hibernate)
Bachelors in Computer Science
Experience with Scrum, XP or other agile methodologies
Linux, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL
Responsibilities:
Manage team of 4+ Java, Web and QA engineers
Establish and improve software engineering best practices
Work closely with product team to design, develop products
Architecture integrating custom applications, 3rd party components and hosted web services
Knowledge:
Analytics
Data Warehousing
Monitoring (e.g. zenoss)
Email delivery systems
Content Management Systems, forms and workflow
HTML front-end development practices, JavaScript
Ad operation systems, e.g. DART for Publishers
Python
Must be eligible to work in the US. |
