We are currently seeking highly driven, bright, entrepreneurial individuals with a passion for digital publishing to join us in this pursuit.

The Sales Planner will play a critical role within our fast-paced advertising sales team focused on managing existing business in both print and digital advertising sales. The Sales Planner will bring their valuable experience in the digital advertising industry to an integrated team. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead process creation in the growing digital business while additionally supporting the print accounts.

Responsibilities Include:
Effectively monitor day to day management of accounts.
Build solid customer relationships and act as a point person for standard customer questions for both print and digital clients.
Regularly conduct internal conference calls, monitor and report contract delivery and progress to goals.
Coordinate creative submissions and campaign optimizations.
Collaborate with Account Managers through regularly scheduled meetings regarding account status, opportunities, issues and optimizations.
Report delivery numbers for billing purposes and coordinate with Finance department.
Investigate and resolve delivery/performance issues and advise management and account team partners as to revenue risk
Mentor other team members; grow the collective skill set of the team
Provide administrative support to the sales team including: tracking advertisers in various publications; assembling media kits and maintaining advertising databases; fielding incoming requests from prospective and current advertisers; filing, faxing and special projects as needed.
Manage the competitive database; run weekly, quarterly and yearly reports.
Participate in advertising staff meetings and complete follow-up activities and assignments.
Work closely with the entire advertising sales department to meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals for all publications and digital services.
Foster innovation and thought leadership in tool and process development


Skills needed:
Proven digital advertising experience plus a keen interest to learn print advertising.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactively manage your account list.
Demonstrate success in performing under resource and time constraints.
Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service oriented skills.
Adept at dealing with ambiguity and a frequently changing work environment.
Ability to think analytically and to set clear priorities
Very strong organizational, issue resolution and decision making skills required.
Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
Passion for digital advertising, customer service, teamwork, and business results.
