||The Director of Website and Content Marketing is responsible for creating, leveraging, and continually improving all elements of content to drive our clients’ consumer response and acquisition, and small business satisfaction with the Yodle product. This leader will build and grow a team to create and optimize the use of copy, photos, reviews, logos, selling points, calls to action, headlines, creative layout, look and feel, video, and more.
-Set a long term content strategy to drive our small business customer loyalty and to drive consumer acquisition and loyalty on their behalf.
-Specifically, optimize the creation and use of all elements of current and future content for website, emails, and other consumer communications: photos, reviews, logos, selling points, promotion, calls to action, headlines, all elements of copy, creative layout, look and feel, video, and more TBD.
-Define key metrics and goals for team; lead efforts to meet and exceed goals and deliverables, and drive continuous process improvement
-Establish framework and processes to allow for ongoing rigorous testing to support ongoing improvement of KPIs
-Work with Yodle’s Product Strategy/Management teams to facilitate appropriate technology build-out in supporting and scaling best practices
-Develop strong working partnerships with the SEO and SEM teams, Quantitative Engineering team, Sales, Client Services, Product/Marketing, Finance and other functional areas to ensure all activities support and are consistent with high-level company strategy
-Manage a team of internet marketing professionals, driving high employee satisfaction, and with a commitment to employee development
-Serve as key member of the broader Product Performance team, providing thought leadership in the context of Yodle’s broader business strategy (SEO, SEM, and other potential businesses) and competitive position
-Experience driving consumer response via digital marketing efforts and test and learn—and a proven track record of driving results
-Ability to balance sophisticated quantitative analysis with creative thinking and practical trade-offs to make decisions supporting team and broader business objectives
-Strong customer focus and creative marketing skills
-Superior analytical skills; creative problem solver
-Highly organized, attentive to detail, ability to manage and drive scalable and repeatable processes.
-Very strong execution skills, and ability to drive tight project management
-Demonstrated ability to form strong cross functional partnerships
-Excellent communication skills to support operating with transparency and clarity
-Experience hiring, leading and motivating a high-performance team, with high levels of employee satisfaction
-Some SEM and/or SEO experience a plus
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Ability to research and stay ahead of industry trends
-Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
-5+ years response marketing, ideally in the consumer segment
-3+ years of managing direct reports
