||Position Title/Description: Senior Project Manager (Advertising Sales)
This is an online/print advertising sales position for DOTmed.com.
Experience level is 2-5+ years of advertising sales. This is an excellent opportunity if you have advertising sales experience and are interested in joining a successful organization.
Our website now has over 220,000 registered users and grows by over 1,500 new users monthly. We have an open position for a dedicated & career oriented sales person looking to create a name for him/herself in this healthcare/medical equipment industry.
You will sell online WebStores to companies that sell medical equipment. You will sell online banner advertising to these potential clients. You will sell print advertising in our monthly magazine and annual Buyers Guide. You have specialty online products to sell like news advertising, eAdvertorials and sponsored posts.
This protected territory includes 2,000 small to medium to large companies who have a presence in our industry, some have advertised with us sporadically and some have never advertised. They exhibit at the same trade shows and advertise in other magazines and buyer’s guides and on various websites. Your job will be to grab a share of their marketing budgets.
This is a true multi-tasking position and you will need several diverse skill sets. This is an ideal situation for an aggressive sales person who wants to build an advertising book at an entrepreneurial company -- knowledge of medical equipment not essential, but a plus.
We have a focus on radiology and imaging equipment however everything sold in hospitals including surgical/operating room is represented online and in print.
Your job will be contacting these companies, find the decision makers, learn about their products and match them with our advertising products.
You will make 30-60+ daily phone calls to clients and multitask between 30-60+ potential clients per day. You will have ample opportunity to reach out to many more every single day.

This position is based in our New York office near Wall Street. No telecommuting.
You must understand the Internet, social networking and be able to walk a prospective client through an online demonstration over the phone.
You have to be able to multi task and service dozens accounts while reaching out to dozens more, every single day.
You must be excellent with multi-tasking on a computer and multi tab browsing.
Expect heavy phone and email usage every day.
We use email communication often so the ability to communicate effectively with the written word is required.
Three years experience selling print or online advertising packages is required. Other similar sales experience will be considered. Healthcare and trade magazine related sales are a big plus.
We are a web based company, you must be web savvy. You will be using a computer and typing and making phone calls all day, every day.
We want a high-energy sales person who will make calls and put life behind our products.
CRM experience like sales force or ACT or Goldmine or other is required.
We have our own in house CRM, which will help you keep track of your contacts and calls. Our contact manager interacts with our phone system so calls are tracked and work is monitored. We have reasonable call and sales quotas. You will have training on our software and on our products and will be expected to learn our proven pitches before your own style will be born.
You will become part of a successful and existing sales team. 95% of sales are over the phone or via email and 5% at trade shows. Once you become successful here expect to travel 1 to 2 times per year to trade shows.
Modest base salary, monthly 10% 1st year commission on both online and print sales plus structured bonuses. 5% commissions on residual sales after 12 months.
$50-60k first full year ($40,000 Base, plus commission, plus bonuses)
$65k -75k+ following year, $75k –85k+ potential after 3rd year.
Top reps are currently earning six figures with more earned on commissions and bonuses. There is no cap on commissions. The more you sell the more we both make.
