Job Requirements The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations of the AFAR Collection – an invitation-only, paid promotional program for AFAR-approved hotels. The goal of the program is to drive alignment, develop content, and increase exposure for hotel partners. To truly excel in this role it will require a proactive spirit, attention to detail, digital savvy and insight, strong organizational and project management skills, an ability to communicate effectively with multiple partners and personalities, and the ability to support key stakeholders. This position is based in New York.

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Chief Product Officer and will provide direct support for the goals of the department including:
• Revenue
• Number of hotels in Collection
• Renewals Percentage

This person will:

• Work with and support the CPO and sales team to help sell and activate the Collection program.
• Act as liaison with the editorial, digital, marketing, PR, business, and executive teams to successfully manage and account for each of the Collection’s moving and evolving parts.
• Interact with clients during on boarding and whenever appropriate.
• Manage to client deadlines and needs.
• Coordinate email promotions/campaigns and ensure successful delivery
• Manage and communicate progress on AFAR Collection KPI’s .
• Be a product champion and lobby changes/builds for optimization and enhancement.
• Manage all documentation, contracts, etc., pertaining to Collection
• Help create and be responsible for the organizational and project management systems that enhance operations
• Have a deep understanding of all stakeholders, their interests, and needs.
• Manage the CMS, coordinate with Sponsored Content Editor and be responsible for online execution

Other requirements:
2+ years of experience in a marketing or project management role
Proactive, strong and professional communicator.
Must possess superior project management skills.
Passionate about travel
