Job Requirements You will:
• Translate business/creative requirements into unique and compelling creative concepts, based on the approved strategy & budgets
• Inspire, lead and drive the creative process—from collaborative ideation to design & copy execution, all the way through to the delivery of the final product
• Strategize and concept 360 marketing campaigns that translate across multiple platforms and mediums (print/online/social/experiential)
• Participate in client meetings and pitch creative concepts
• Collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams, projects and time

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Fine Arts or Advertising (or a related field)
• 5-7 years of related agency experience, including both traditional and interactive work
• Strong understanding of branding, marketing and advertising, plus fluency in all things digital
• Strategic, big-picture thinker, with a strong portfolio of highly conceptual work
• A strong sense of visual style; strong layout, typography and graphics standards
• Charismatic and engaging leader, able to mentor a small team, sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback
• Willing to be scrappy & resourceful on small accounts, but able to scale up for bigger clients
• Outstanding work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, can effortlessly articulate creative concepts and rationale to other team members and clients
• Excellent interpersonal skills—must possess a positive attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams

We’re looking for an Freelance Associate Creative Director to work out of our New York City office who brings a passion for creative concepting and innovation in the fashion, beauty and hospitality arenas. Traditional advertising experience (print, TV, outdoor, collateral, photo shoots) and interactive experience (web, digital media, social) is a must; branding and identity experience is a big plus.
