||The Media Director’s primary role will be to direct, lead and manage the media strategy and tactical implementation for the agency’s clients and to some extent, for potential clients.
To that end, their responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
? Lead the overall media strategy and approach for existing and new clients.
? Develop media plans (including media selection, negotiating and flighting).
? Oversee the implementation of media buys.
? Oversee post performance analyses of media plans.
? Work closely with Account Management during the planning phase as well as throughout the campaign.
? Be an active participant in new business proposals and pitches.
? Stay abreast of media trends.
? Interact directly with clients.
? Manage a team to include Media Buyer and Media Traffic Coordinator.
? Provide account management support, as needed.
