Ad of the Day: Shultz & Dooley for Utica’s West End Brewing Co.

A friend and fellow craft beer lover pointed us to this spot, which is one of many produced for West End Brewing Co’s Pilsner, called Utica Club. This ad, called “Spacemen” is from 1962 and features VO by Jonathan Winters of Mork & Mindy and The Jonathan Winters Show.

The brewery produced more than 100 spots like this one, all featuring Shultz & Dooley, two figures that today are iconic to the brand. Each winter the brewery mass produces two different versions of the steins and today they are widely sought by brand lovers.
