AdAge: McCann Suing MDC Over Alleged Employee/Client Poaching

There’s malicious mayhem mounting between McCann Erickson, former home of KBSP lead Lori Senecal, and MDC Partners. The former thinks the latter is trying to steal its clients and people. Rather, McCann says that when Senecal left she basically took a bunch of folks and Weight Watchers. Cue choreographed snapping.

AdAge’s Rupal Parekh is all over this one. She opened with “a bitter legal battle is brewing in adland” which, if anything, should make your nipples go pop.

FWIW this is the first challenge to MDC’s ridiculous growth spurt. A loss here could make a dent in that $300 million injection earned by MDC’s Miles Nadal and his convincing smile. Don’t fuck this up guys. Canada’s counting on you.
