Amalgamated has added Fiona McBride (of BBDO) as president and Scott Karambis (Mullen) as director of planning. Both are now partners in the firm along with OG’s Charles Rosen, Jason Gaboriau and Doug Cameron.
According to Adweek: “Rosen said the hires were made to help the shop maintain momentum.” Does the agency have momentum? They did recently win the Qdoba Mexican Grill and Mike’s Hard Lemonade’s as clients earlier this year. They also found themselves in the final rounds of the Doubletree and Embassy Suites bid, too. Yes, I would call that momentum. Amalgamated’s client roster includes Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola and MDiscovery’s Planet Green Network.
