Barbarian Group Cuts a Handful

Wouldn’t you know it, it’s been almost a year to the day since we last reported about layoffs at The Barbarian Group. Guess that’s a good sign, but our sources have confirmed that the Boston/NY digital shop has cut six staffers this week. We’ve been told that the cuts were not financially related or department-specific but tipsters allege that those given the axe were all former Cheil employees who became TBG employees after the merger earlier this year.
