Big Spaceship’s Lebowitz to Co-Chair ANDYs

ANDY Awards Chairman and JWT North America co-president/CCO Ty Montague welcomed Big Spaceship chief Michael Lebowitz as co-chair of the ANDYs, marking the first time such a thing has happened at the event.

According to the announcement, the pair-up reflects the “changes taking place in advertising, coupled with what the industry has long celebrated; big ideas, storytelling, and craft.” Together, the duo plans to expand the ANDY’s digital marketing efforts, increase digital creative presence in the jury and develop new categories (which we’re guessing are somewhat digitally related).
