Bond No. 9′s Andy Warhol Fragrance

Bond No. 9 is marketing its new fragrance in the Andy Warhol Series. Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue is the third in the collection. The cost of the perfume is a bit lavish (around $200). And while I admire Andy Warhol as an artist, I hardly think perfume when I hear his name. Sure the bottle designs which are inspired by Warhol paintings are nice, but who really cares what their perfume bottle looks like? Using Warhol’s name in an effort to fool consumers into thinking your brand is cool makes the brand seem exponentially less interesting to me.
