Cool: Augmented Reality Heads-Up-Display

We still aren’t exactly sure how Augmented Reality will fit into advertising, but it’s increasingly evident that the technology will play a role in how we absorb media.

The video above includes an HTC phone (not a bad plug considering the recent campaign launch), some cardboard and elastic. When used in the proper array, these bits can be put together to create a Heads-Up-Display (HUD). Not following? Ever used Google StreetView on your iPhone? Notice that as you turn, the image on your screen reacts. Combine that with the crazy cardboard HTC goggle setup and you’ve got yourself a cool environment. This is how apps are born.
