Wow the chicken is maybe the most divisive animal in America today, no? Not a month after the Popeye’s fiasco “The Popeye’s Payday Pseudo Fallout” KFC is having similar issues due to a promotion led by Oprah whereby customers could bring in a coupon for a free order of two pieces of the new grilled chicken, two sides and a biscuit (sounds delish!). Well we’re hearing that KFC franchises, in New York at least, are turning down customers with the Web-garnered coupons. Oy.

Apparently racial slurs are flying and mini-riots are ensuing at the 42nd st. store so, uh, go somewhere else?
