Here’s an energetic twist on your standard agency merger announcement: according to a certain industry’s little black book, principals at Hasan & Partners displayed a bit more honesty than usual when discussing their recent acquisition of Perfect Fools.
The reason: those listening to Ami Hasan and Eka Ruola during their Radio Helsinki interviews had the opportunity to shock them, via electrodes controlled by online banner ads, whenever they dared veer into the usual press release bullshit.
A post on the same agency’s blog promises that #thisisnotanaprilfool, and it did go live on March 31st.
Still, we have to ask: was this stunt real? And if so, was it a great thing or The Greatest Thing?
