First Adamo, Now Della

Dell Della Products Feature Mini Banner.jpg

There’s this cutesy new site for Dell’s newest attempt at ah, selling tiny computers. Della is for the ladies and the site is really fricking oblique.

My only question about this marketing move is &#151 does Dell want to market Netbooks to women because they’re small? Wow. That must have come out of a focus group.

As a netbook user I can tell you these small machines are kind of a pain in the butt. Slow processing and reduced capabilities all around tend to make the used experience annoying &#151 and I’ve used a number of models, from Dell, ASUS, HP et al. This point doesn’t have anything to do with the post, just wanted to make that note.
