Toyota Yaris and Honda Fit would be useless in a world plagued by zombies. At least that’s the message in a new webisode promoting the 2011 Ford Fiesta that’s part of a larger, multi-channel campaign being unveiled by the brand this week. In this 90-second clip, the Fiesta’s keyless entry and ignition features are highlighted and help provide a potential victim of the undead with convenient escape.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Ford will be investing in advertising over a longer period of time–as much as a year after the Fiesta is introduced. While we wait for confirmation that this is Team Detroit’s handiwork, after the jump check out the 60-second TV spot that will debut during American Idol tonight where a cityscape come to life with a push of the starter button.
