Illegal Footage + Bored Animator = Trader Joe’s Viral Spoof

Carl Willat is a commercial animation director at Portland, OR based FFAKE. Over the last year, he shot the footage in the above video, then wrote and sang the lyrics too. When he put it all together, he had a pretty nifty ad for Trader Joe’s. It was all shot with his Palm Treo, and we’re told Carl had to be sneaky because TJ’s isn’t down with pics being taken within their stores.

We’re not sure if this is a better ad for Trader Joe’s or the Palm Treo, but it’s right up there with those Dutch walk-in fridge guys.
