Invisible Children CEO Talks ‘Kony 2012′
By now, you’ve probably seen or at least heard of the “Kony 2012″ film, a viral smash from Invisible Children and Resolve (with technology development provided by Digitaria) that garnered 70 million views in just five days, in turn setting a record.
A week after the launch of the 30-minute doc, which brings to light the crimes of Ugandan warlord/Lord’s Resistance Army leader Joseph Kony, Invisible Children CEO/executive director Ben Keesey posted this clip thanking viewers for their support. In addition, Keesey explains IC’s development model, philosophy, financial expenses and short/long-term goals of the “Kony 2012″ project. Like the doc itself, this clip, which was launched in conjunction with a SXSWi panel discussion yesterday evening, is definitely worth a look.
