Job-Seeking Creative Perhaps Rekindles East Coast/West Coast Rivalry with Ode to Mistress

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Gregg Kaysen, a New York-based creative type who’s currently listed as a “content creator” at BBDO but has his eyes set on the West Coast, specifically L.A.-based shop Mistress. The folks at the agency, which works with clients like Jagermeister, has received this bumping opus that not only disses one of its own copywriters, but has sparked a mini-feud in the process. According to the Mistress camp, copywriter Guy Helm, who was apparently slighted in this rap, has begun reaching out to multiple west coast talent such as Too Short to formulate a potential response. We only hope this hasn’t reopened the old East Coast/West Coast rapper wound.

Oh, it’s on and with it, he’s actually landed himself a job interview with the Mistress CDs. If you’re interested in full lyric sheet and want to know more about Kaysen, click here.
