Lapiz Shows Solidarity with Fellow Chileans on Halloween

We bet you saw a lot of superheroes lurking around over Halloween weekend,  such as Spiderman, Kick Ass and every other caped crusader you can think of. This year, though, employees at Hispanic agency Lapiz, Chicago, dressed as real heroes.

According to Lapiz AD Philipe Dião, thirty-three of the shop’s staff  “stormed into Leo Burnett’s Halloween party (not literally) chanting CHI CHI CHI….LE LE LE!,  and were all dressed as the brave Chilean miners who were trapped underground for more than two months.” Are you going to try and argue that these people aren’t heroes after surviving under the earth for over 60 days?

In case you didn’t know, Lapiz was originally formed as the Hispanic Division of Leo Burnett USA. In 1999, they established their own identity as Lápiz, and they have been operating independently within the Leo Burnett Worldwide, Inc. network ever since. Their clients consist of Proctor & Gamble, Allstate and US Cellular just to throw out a few.
