We guess since the New York Knicks’ offseason started over six weeks ago, point guard Baron Davis had some extra time to shoot this PSA for the NYC Department of Transportation (glad to see he’s mobile considering his terrible knee injury during the playoffs). Here, the hoopster turns into hall monitor/traffic enforcer, urging various New York commuters to be aware of their surroundings.

We would’ve preferred he chucked basketballs at more people in the clip, though everyone seems to take his commands in stride and with the utmost politeness. Now, if we could only get Baron Davis to do this in real life and put these people in their place. Here’s one example from the print component of the NYC DOT campaign:
