-Following its appointment of Draftfcb New York as AOR, Amtrak has handed a two-year contract to Chicago-based Jacobs Agency for a regional account. Work on the latter is expected to launch early next year. link
-MEC has appointed UM alumĀ Michael Kostainsek as senior partner/account director on the BlackRock and Netflix accounts. The new hire will be based in San Francisco.
-Starcom USA is bulking up its Samsung staff in New York, welcoming Eric Bridge as SVP/director on the business, Tom Brookbanks as SVP/global director and Jeff Liang as SVP/digital director.
