-Former Warner Bros. Online creative director Anette Hughes has joined L.A.-based digital agency AvatarLabs as CD.

-Pepperidge Farm’s Milano cookies line has returned to TV advertising after a decade-long hiatus with the help of Y&R New York (above).

-Mike Albert, whose ad career includes stints at the likes of Leo Burnett and Campbell-Ewald, has joined the roster of Portland, OR’s Modus Operandi as Detroit-based EP to help grow its Midwest presence.

-Venice, CA-based production company Carbo Films has signed filmmaker Belén Gayán for U.S. commercial representation.
