There's mischief afoot in Brighton, a southern city in the UK. Agency iCrossing's Brighton-based shop was fined ~$3,000 by a local magistrate, when eight large garbage bags were found dumped in Palace Place.

According to a story published in The Argus on the issue, officers found the bags piled up against the wall. One of them was apparently ripped open and its contents were strewn around the street. The garbage included private client data, including costs and profits from TUI, Web mock-ups for EA Games and more. Update: iCrossing has refuted this statement, here.

Officers were able to determine that the refuse came from iCrossing based on documents they found among the trash. More after the jump.
