Scandal alert! And no, it has nothing to do with this blog. Another blog, QBN, is currently hosting a thread in which a bunch of folks are attempting to "out" a rogue art director. Why?

"We are here to out a fraud Designer/Art Director by the name of Dedric Reid, who's been jumping around agencies in both SF and NYC. He steals well-known designer's work and uses them on his PORTFOLIO."

And they have proof by way of screen grabs taking from Dedric's website, I Do This For Fun that blatantly rip off freelance designer, Chuck Anderson's work. Dedric's Linkedin has him working as an Associate Creative Director at RGA and an Art Director at Modem Media in the past.

Anderson told us that:

"I took screenshots and yes - it's all blatant and with brazen disregard for the respect of my work. He also stole the work of several other prominent artists for wdtff.com/reel

I do not know him, gave no permission, and I have issued a cease and desist via email. I can't find a contact number for him though. Any info is appreciated. The best thing to do is spread the word."
