New to New York/Canadian born Cossette has picked up Toby Vann as their SVP director of digital engagement. Vann, we're told, was a fine arts major who toured as a performance artist before transitioning into digital media. Hmm.

Most recently, Vann was at digital consultancy Roundarch, where he played executive director for social media. Before that was a gig at IconNicholson, and before that he was doing interactive media things at Razorfish (as a sr. account dir.) for Capital One. Now he's in Cossette's wallet.

This hire is only significant for the agency because the modus operandi has been to hire people project by project. Vann, then, joins a core group at Cossette, including CCO Bill Oberlander. Hey Bill.
