Roundarch Isobar to Shutter San Francisco Ops

After receiving numerous tips about this over the last few days (perhaps the most about one particular item we’ve seen in quite a while), we’ve finally received official confirmation that Roundarch Isobar is indeed closing up shop in San Francisco. RI co-CEO Jeff Maling tells us that the shuttering of the SF office will impact “approximately 15 professionals,” adding, “We continue to have professionals in Los Angeles and San Francisco working remotely, but in terms of formal offices we have chosen in the near term to focus on our growth, [they are] Chicago, NY and Boston.”

We’re trying to get further official comment on the exact closing date, but sources are saying it’s this Friday, Sept. 21. Roundarch Isobar, to refresh your memory, was formed in February as a result of Isobar parent Aegis purchasing 100 percent of digital agency Roundarch. Aegis, of course, was subsequently sold to Dentsu in July. We’ll keep you posted once we find out more.  Update: Maling has confirmed that most SF personnel will complete their transitions by Sept. 21.
