California-based RPA, the AOR for Honda, brought on TBWA\Media Arts Lab CD Jason Sperling (pictured) as group creative director on the automaker’s account. Sperling, who oversaw the iPhone, iPad and Mac groups at \MAL, has himself some nice decorations on his desk such as Cannes Lions and Cyber Lions Gold,several Gold Pencils, the Grand Effie and has earned Campaign of the Decade by Adweek.
Also, several people within the agency have been bumped up to support the ongoing progression of its creative department.
Joe Baratelli and Patrick Mendelson have now become group creative directors. Chuck Blackwell, Nathan Crow and Adam Lowrey moved up as creative directors and Laura Hauseman to associate creative director. Let’s wait and see how much torque Honda can dish out now.
