We’re not sure if we should chalk this up to sheer coincidence or clever timing. Whatever the case, just days after Fallon found Darren Spiller’s successor in Jeff Kling, Campaign Brief  is reporting that the former has landed a new gig in Australia as ECD at DDB Group Melbourne. If you recall, Spiller headed back to Australia in March after spending three years at Fallon, which he originally joined as an ECD. Prior to his appointment at the Minneapolis-based agency, Spiller had stints Down Under at Publicis Mojo Melbourne and New Zealand. It fell through the cracks last week, but what the hell,  in case you haven’t heard and are interested, we have the list of who’s playing judge and jury in the 36th Annual One Show, which will take place on May 12 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in NYC. Are you geared up for awards season yet? Well, whatever the case, the Art Directors Club has solidified its its 90th Awards juries with the additions of Taxi chairman/co-founder Paul Lavoie (pictured) and Wayne Best as Advertising and Hybrid chairs, respectively.

Best, if you best remember, left his ECD post at JWT last September to pursue a new “creative partnership,” which is a New York operation called Cog. Lavoie’s shop, of course, is now in the hands of Sir Marty and WPP. The Advertising and Hybrid categories have an entry deadline of Feb. 6.
