Former 180 LA creative director Amir Farhang, who joined up with prodco Uber Content last fall, directs this latest round of spots supporting Droga5′s ongoing Tap Project for Unicef. The black & white ditty above stars music megastar Rihanna, who gets help from a smooth tune and a purposely corny VO. This latest clip, one of four in a “Celebrity Tap” campaign that also stars Taylor Swift, Vinnie Chase and someone named Selena Gomez (her clip is after the jump), comes with a contest where you can “win bottled tap water from the gilded faucets” of said celebs. The Cannes Lion announces keep rolling out and this time, it concerns the Titanium and Integrated jury, which will be chaired by DDB Worldwide chairman/CCO Bob Scarpelli, aka the man of many thoughts. Scarpelli, who previously served as president of both the Cannes Lion Press and Film juries in 2007, will be joined by nine others on Titanium/Integrated at this year’s advertising bacchanal including Iain Tait and Linus Karlsson (the new McCann NY/London chairman/CCO who we hear is currently on an international introduction tour).
In addition to the aforementioned categories, Scarpelli & Co. will also be awarding the Grand Prix for Good, which goes to the best entry selected from all the Gold Lion winners in the charities and public services categories, but was ineligible to win their category Grand Prix.
